Access Point Monitoring: Achieve Lasting Peace of Mind

Access Point Monitor on a white, vinyl fence

Have you ever wondered if your gate was left open?

  • Did someone forget to latch the gate, creating a safety risk or liability?
  • Is a contractor or guest arriving unexpectedly?
  • Has a delivery been made without notice?
  • Is someone gaining unauthorized access to your property right now?

With access point monitoring, you won’t have to wonder — you’ll know. Instantly.

Why Access Point Monitoring Matters

Your fence is the first line of defense—but what about the gate?

A to Z Quality Fencing includes the Perimify™ access point monitoring system with all new vinyl and aluminum fence installations. This smart security feature automatically alerts when a gate is opened or closed—no guessing or delay.

Whether at home, work, or halfway across the country, Perimify™ puts you in the know. That kind of awareness doesn’t just feel good—it’s essential. It protects against:

  • Accidental gate breaches that create safety risks or liability
  • Unnoticed arrivals—contractors, guests, or deliveries
  • Unauthorized access to private or restricted areas
  • Lapses in security when no one’s around to check

For homeowners, it’s peace of mind.

For businesses, it’s a proactive layer of protection.

And for everyone, it’s one less thing to worry about. When protecting what matters most, having this awareness can make everyday life feel more secure.

Frequently Asked Questions

What Does It Cost?

Most new vinyl or aluminum fences installed by A to Z Quality Fencing include Perimify™ access point monitors (APMs).

After installation, you’ll receive a 30-day free trial of mobile alerts. Once that ends, you can opt into real-time gate notifications for just $40/year (just over $3/month for peace of mind you can carry in your pocket). The inside hub will chime with or without a subscription.

There’s no need to buy additional hardware unless you want to monitor more than the standard number of gates. Kits come in 1-, 2-, or 3-point setups, and we can create custom builds to match larger or more complex properties. Manage multiple locations from one account with additional hubs.

How many users can access the Perimify™ system?

You can add up to 5 users per account, each with their own custom notification settings. Adding a new user is simple and can be done through the Perimify™ app or website.

Can I monitor more than one property?

Yes. You can link additional access point monitoring hubs under the same account to monitor multiple homes, business locations, or outbuildings.

What kind of fences is Perimify™ available on?

Perimify™ is included with most new vinyl and aluminum fence installations by A to Z Quality Fencing. While we’ve explored cedar applications, we’ve found that the nature of wood fencing presents installation challenges that may affect the system’s long-term reliability. Because we stand behind everything we install, we currently do not offer access point monitoring on cedar fences.

Do I need special wiring or trenching to install access point monitoring?

Nope! Perimify™ is entirely wireless. The Access Point Monitors (APMs) are mounted directly to your gates, and the system hub goes indoors.

What happens if my gate is left open?

If you have a mobile alert subscription, you’ll receive a push notification. The system also chimes locally via the hub.

How long does the battery last?

Each Access Point Monitor (APM) runs on a long-life battery, rated up to 8 years, depending on usage and environmental conditions.

Is Perimify™ weatherproof?

Absolutely. Access Point Monitors (APMs) are enclosed in a sealed, weather-resistant polycarbonate case built to handle Midwest extremes.

Where else can I use Perimify™ besides gates?

Access Point Monitors (APMs) can be installed on garage doors, storage sheds, barns, parcel boxes, guesthouses, animal enclosures, and more.

I already have a fence installed. Can I still get a system for monitoring access points?

Yes! Our sister company, A to Z Fence Supplies, sells additional access point monitoring devices for DIY installation or other fence contractors.
