Though not customarily considered pretty, chain-link fencing can be used without becoming an eyesore. Chain-link is sturdy, maintenance-free, durable, and economical. Chain link fencing is ideal for situations where you may want to enjoy your view. This fencing will not obstruct the view. We also offer privacy slats to increase privacy while maintaining your budget. We only install commercial-grade fencing. Chain link is also available with polymer coatings that come in various colors, such as brown, green, and black.
You should consider chain link fencing for a durable, low-maintenance, and relatively low-cost fence option. While residential fences may be constructed from chain link fences, it is the most common fence choice for commercial projects.
There are three grades of chain-link pipe thicknesses commonly used in fencing. This sizing references the thickness of the pipe wall, not the pipe’s diameter.
We use ss20 in our residential installs. In addition, we use 2-3/8″ diameter pipe for gate posts, end posts, and corners. Most contractors use 2″. We use 2″ on line posts, while most others use 1-5/8″. We use 1-5/8″ for the top rail, while most others use 1-3/8″.
We pound our 4′ and 5′ chain link fence in ground 48″ below the frost line! Our 6′ is pounded 5′. And all of our gates are fully welded gates, not screwed together.
