Community engagement is not just a theme reserved for December – it should shine bright throughout the year. The power of small acts of kindness and working towards common goals ignites a sense of unity within our local communities that transcends any single holiday. 

At A to Z Quality Fencing & Structures, our business provides our customers with the best fencing possible. This accomplishment is possible thanks to our incredible team and the philosophy to leave everything better in our personal and professional lives. As we look back on 2023, we’d like to reflect on our connections and their positive impacts on our communities.

Ways A to Z Quality Fencing Gets Involved

At A to Z Quality Fencing, we’re not just fence builders. We’re also proud community members who love to give back. From donations to volunteering, we believe in putting our time and resources towards supporting the neighborhoods we serve. 

As experts in our craft, we’re also constantly seeking opportunities to educate other fence contractors about the importance of high-quality, no-mess, no-dig fence installation and how it can improve installation, customer experience, and profitability. Whether participating in trade shows or speaking at local events, we’re always eager to share our knowledge.

Prayer Garden

The construction of a prayer garden in Owatonna, MN, is a cause close to the hearts of A to Z Quality Fencing. It provides an opportunity to bring more people to God and unite the community to create a peaceful, serene space for prayer and reflection.

The company has proactively coordinated and obtained material donations from our vendors for the garden’s fencing. When the project is complete, A to Z Quality Fencing will have installed 1700 linear feet of aluminum fencing around the perimeter. Thanks to the donation of A to Z Quality Fencing’s service time, the prayer garden will be a haven for all to cherish. Completing this project in 2024 will be a milestone in the community. A to Z Quality Fencing is proud to play a part in its success.

Washington County Fair

Attending community events can be a great way to get involved with your neighbors and support local businesses. Last year, A to Z Quality Fencing had a booth at the Washington County Fair. They used the opportunity to interview and highlight other small businesses and vendors on their social media platforms. In addition, A to Z Quality Fencing supports 4-H and FFA by highlighting the kids on social media and buying their prize-winning animals for other community events and team-building opportunities.

This year, we worked with our local butcher/meat processor to split the meat between shop team members and a family in need. In addition, we reserved a lamb and pig for use at our Customer Appreciation Day.

Customer Appreciation Day

If you’re in the Hartford, WI area, mark your calendars and head to A to Z Quality Fencing’s headquarters for their annual Customer Appreciation Day! Held on October 7, 2023, this community fun day is not just for past and potential customers, but it’s also for 4-H students and families, contractors, DIYers, and everyone who supports A to Z. With a bags (cornhole) tournament that offers cash prizes, a lamb and pig roast, bouncy houses for the kids, and more – this is a community event that you can’t miss! Watch our social media for an announcement on our 2024 event date, and come on down and join in on the fun!

Team Building

Team building is critical to success at A to Z Quality Fencing. Our company believes in developing leaders in all areas of life, whether in our communities, businesses, or personal lives. We hold weekly leadership meetings to ensure all team members grow their leadership skills. And it doesn’t stop there- we also know the value of building relationships and having fun as a team. That’s why we host an annual team-building event in Wisconsin Dells for all team members and their families. 

Year-round, we ensure our installation teams feel supported by providing them with hot meals (breakfast and lunch!) on the job. To show our gratitude, we give each team member a Thanksgiving kit with a turkey and all the fixings. At A to Z Quality Fencing, we believe in investing in our team members to create a solid and successful team.

Growing the Industry

As the fence installation industry continues to evolve, we are proud to offer a solution that is the future of fence installation. Our No Mess, No Dig Fence Installation has gained recognition and praise for its innovation and efficiency. Our owner, Aaron Smith, recently presented this revolutionary installation method at the first Fence Business Conference. His dedication and passion for the industry led him to travel and train other fence professionals, sharing his knowledge and expertise. By doing so, he is helping other fence businesses grow. Working together can propel the fence industry forward and create more profitable and thriving communities.
